Agents? Who Needs Them?
No really, I’m asking. Who needs an agent? What types of writers at what stages in their processes?
I’ve corresponded briefly with Jeff Kleinman of FolioLit about an idea I’ve been working out for a while now, and he’s expressed interest. He’s been very helpful in reminding me that even nonfiction needs to have a narrative arc. Although – that helpful advice has stalled me for over a year now.
And now I’m thinking of a new book idea, and I’m wondering how far I should go in pursuing it before I contact someone about it . . .
What are your thoughts about agents? Do you have one to recommend to folks?
